Austin Texas based company iKnowware sought assistance from Global Data Sciences executive management team in final development and rollout of SAAS based CRM product.

Problem:

Emerging Software Company engaged in the development and marketing of Global CRM product required a notable customer install with documented results. The GDS team would introduce iKnowware to Coleman Powermate as the cornerstone of Powermate’s CRM system while providing technical advice, council, and architectural recommendations required to complete the SAAS program for iKnowware.

Strategy:

Locate dynamic business opportunity for iKnowware willing to except and utilize the iKnowware SAAS platform as a breakout customer for iKnowware.

Goals:
  • Establish production install base for iKnowware
  • Train install user base on iKnowware product and capabilities.
  • Integrate iKnowware CRM system to Powermate’s Legacy systems. Sales force, distribution, and field automation systems.
  • Develop customer satisfaction statistics and create trouble/resolution logs for iKnowware.
  • Review and manage changes in architectural components for iKnowware.

Comments:

iKnowware was successfully implemented at Coleman Powermate. This required some adjustments to business processes, and a few technical issues needed to be ironed out. As a result of the hard work of the GDS team and the diligence of the IKnowware management team in 2010 iKnowware was recognized as number 3 in Forbes magazines top 20 most promising companies in 2009.
